Coach Emo has been involved in football as a coach and player for over 5 decades. He has received numerous accolades as both a player and coach during that time. Most notable Coach Emo was inducted in 2014 into the NFC Hall of Fame. In 2005 and again in 2017 Coach Emo won the NFC Coach of the Year Award. Coach Emo has won a provincial and national title in the NFC and has one of the most impressive winning percentages as a head coach in the 60+ years of the NFC. Coach has not only been successful in the NFC but spent 8 years as an assistant coach with the University of Guelph and went to a Vanier Cup while there. This past season saw Coach Emo serve as an assistant coach with Nelson HS in Burlington where this season the Nelson Lords won the Halton Championship. This past Labour Day Emo won coach of the year as MIFA ALLSTARS CANADA Head Coach defeating Team America in the International Bowl. Coach Emo along with the rest of the 2017 Longhorn coaches, executive and players helped turn around the Longhorns with their most impressive season in over a decade posting a 6&2 regular season contest to finish 2nd in their division and 3rd over all. Coach looks forward to bringing a national title to Oakville in 2018!
